Introduction.

In the war of Humans and Orcs that occured long agomany Orcish warriors were corrupted by demonic influenceand became tools of blackest darkness. One such warriorwas the leader of the Half-Tribe of the Bloodied AxeClan; Mogul Kahn. Mogul was slain by human paladin but mysteriously was seen fighting alongside the Scourgearound the time Mannaroth started to command the orcsin the war against Archimonde. The Axe has been revivedby demons and uses his reflexes and powerful blows to huntdown and seek out the Sentinels agile warriors and cut them down to size, even projecting his lust for war onto them.

A. Hero Details.

Range: 100 | | Move Speed: 290 | Primary: STR

Str: 19 + 2.5 | Agi: 22 + 2.2 | Int: 14 + 1.6

Damage: 43 - 47 | HP: 511 | Mana: 182

HP Regen: 0.82 | Mana Regen: 0.57

Attack Speed: 1.33 (+ 22% IAS) | Armor: 2.1


Axe is a tank hero. yes. even though his agility is so much close to his strength Axe is a very good tank hero at the same time, Axe is a very good hero killer, farmer and pusher.

Disadvantages

-no disable/stun.

-low mana pool.

-no escape ability.


B. Skill Build.

Skill overview


Berserker's Call (E)

Mogul Kahn focuses all of his enemy's hatred on him, causing them to attack him at all costs.

275 AOE.

Level 1 - Lasts 1.5 seconds, 5 bonus armor.

Level 2 - Lasts 2 seconds, 10 bonus armor.

Level 3 - Lasts 2.5 seconds, 15 bonus armor.

Level 4 - Lasts 3 seconds, 20 bonus armor.

This skill is great especially with creeps around you. Together with Counter Helix, this skill gives you a chance for great damage in 1on1 and very useful in clashes. This skill can also help your teammates to escape from hero killers. Also guys with BKB will be forced to attack him. It also affects invisible heroes.


Battle Hunger (R)

Afflicts a target with a terrible killing hunger. The target will take damage per second until it kills a unit.

Level 1 - 15 damage/second, lasts 10 seconds.

Level 2 - 15 damage/second, lasts 15 seconds.

Level 3 - 20 damage/second, lasts 20 seconds.

Level 4 - 25 damage/second, lasts 25 seconds.

Mana Cost: 75/85/95/105

Cooldown: 25/20/15/10

This skill is very useful in early and in mid-game. Very great in harassing. Damage can reach as high as 625.



Counter Helix (X)

MogulKahn counters some blows made to him by taking the attacking unit andswinging it around violently, dealing damage to all nearby enemy units.15% chance to counter throughout all levels.

Level 1: 100 damage.

Level 2: 125 damage.

Level 3: 150 damage.

Level 4: 175 damage

Mana Cost: N/A

Cooldown: N/A



Culling Blade (C)

Purges the weak from Mogul Kahn's sight. Deals moderate damage, but will kill a target that is low on life.

Level 1 - Deals 150 damage, will kill if target is below 300.

Level 2 - Deals 250 damage, will kill if target is below 450.

Level 3 - Deals 300 damage, will kill if target is below 625.

Mana Cost: 120/ 140/ 160Cooldown: 75/65/55

This skill gives 9999999999 damage when the target when below the said hp. So even with Omniknight's guardian angel it will surely kill it. It also goes through Abaddon's borrowed time. As said, it will surely kill a target when the target's hp is below the said hp.

Max Counter Helix first. Why? for farming and killing ability.Why Battle Hunger over Berserker's call? Many people argue about this skill, But I think Battle Hunger should be first before berserker's call. Berserker's call let's enemies attack you, people use this to kill in early-game. They use it like stun or so that while attacking a hero creeps will attack you to give you higher chance for counter helix. But attacking the hero will automatically let your opponent creeps attack you, that's how they are programmed. So that means it's like a free berserker's call without the bonus armor but it will also give you higher chance of spinning (counter helix.). Axe has a below average move speed so he's not that good at chasing and that's why you put battle hunger, when he's health is low cast battle hunger to your target and let him die. These combo will easily give you 1st blood at least at level 2.

Axe does not need damage and aspd. All he needs is hp and move speed. For killing his skills will do the work.

and some of these

tangoes for regen. Stout for 30% block 30 damage, good for you tanking the creeps while waiting for counter helix. Also an item required for vanguard. While gauntlets give you hp for your survival and also for tanking while waiting for counter helix.

hp! hp! hp! you need a lot of hp!

Late game.



D. Strategy

1. Early-game.

You have counter helix. You have Battle Hunger. Keep harassing your enemy. It's either he won't level up or he'll die. Always cast Battle Hunger on your enemy. If he tries to attack you creeps attack him. If he fights, continue attacking even if all of his creeps are attacking you. That's a good thing. You'll be able to damage him from 100-400 in level 1 or level 2!! add battle hunger then surely your target will die. Even with 2 heroes on your lane, you can easily kill them. By the time you reach level 6. you just come near them and when the target's life is below 300 don't hesitate culling blade. It has a very short cooldown for a strong skill. But watch out for your health. Know when you need to retreat.

2. Mid-game.

Now that you have all of your skills. always start with berserker's call. and add up battle hunger. Now you can tank up to three oponents and kill 2 of them. Just watch out for your hp. For farming, it's better to stand in front of your creeps. Tank the creeps' attacks and most of all of that creeps would be yours. And really don't hesitate using your culling blade.

3. Late-game.

This is where clashes are seen. All you have to do is blink in the center and use berserker's call. Use manta style if you have and your counter helix would do the work. Use culling blade who you think is going to die and believe me your team would win the clash.


E. Conclusion.

Axe is a great tank with great skills which makes him a tank-herokiller. But his aspd and damage is very low and his movespeed is below average. But with the correct usage of skills and correct items. Axe could be the strongest hero in DotA.
